MudJacking and PolyLevel® Differences in Youngstown, Ohio

Youngstown, if you are reading this blog, you probably have concrete issues around your home and are looking for the right solution to fix these troubles.

If the issue is sinking or settling slabs, mudjacking is a technique that’s been used for decades. The process involves mixing mud and concrete and pumping it under a sinking slab. It’s sometimes nicknamed slab jacking or grout pumping. It can also be messy, unpredictable, and leave large holes in the concrete where they cut out room for the injection equipment. The mud cement combination can also wash away over time, causing the same issues all over again. Why settle for the same method that is temporary, messy, and time-consuming?

We are excited to introduce PolyLevel®, a new, modern alternative to mud jacking! It’s a polyurethane foam injected under a concrete slab that slowly expands and hardens, leading to a permanent solution that won’t wash away or erode. The Basement Guys are working hard to include PolyLevel in their services so make sure to keep checking our website and social media for the latest updates because it will be here soon!
